Westminster City Council has approved plans for the redevelopment of Charles House, Leicester Place, delivering a new Zedwell Hotel in the heart of London’s West End.
The scheme by Criterion Hospitality will transform a former office building into a sustainable 230-room hotel, supporting the area’s cultural and night-time economy while safeguarding the character of the Leicester Place and Chinatown Conservation Areas.
Our team supported the project, leading all community consultation and political engagement in the run-up to planning committee. The approved retrofit demonstrates how thoughtful regeneration can bring new life to existing buildings and strengthen the long-term vitality of the West End.
