RBKC Breakfast Roundtable: Planning, Investment and the Road Ahead

RBKC breakfast

Hedry hosted an exclusive breakfast roundtable with Cllr Johnny Thalassites, Lead Member for Environment and Planning at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, bringing together senior figures from across the property, development and business community. We were also joined remotely by Cllr Cem Kemahli, Lead Member for Finance, Digital and Efficiency, giving attendees the opportunity to hear perspectives from two Cabinet Members within a single discussion.

Held under the Chatham House Rule, the session provided a candid and constructive forum to reflect on the borough’s approach to planning, place and delivery, alongside the wider financial and operational context shaping local decision-making. The discussion reinforced the importance of high-quality development, effective engagement and strong partnership working between the public and private sectors.

For attendees, the roundtable underlined the value of early, open dialogue with the Council and the role of trusted forums in supporting confidence, understanding and delivery as projects progress.
